Today was a leftovers day.
Since Jake has been working on a paper, I baked/cooked all three meals for fun yesterday, thus leaving us with plenty of food for today, too. It was very housewifey of me, which was fun and I enjoy it for the most part…but man, I was exhausted by 10pm on a Saturday night.
REPEAT:
1. sweet potato frittata was had for breakfast AGAIN.
2. warm lentil salad was had for dinner AGAIN.
3. we finished the pie tonight. my brother and his girlfriend came over in the afternoon to help us eat it.
The difference between today and yesterday? Well, I actually went outside! And, it wasn’t to go to the grocery store. Yay!
We took a three-hour walk today. Mostly down Oxford Street to Harvard Square. We walked around Brattle and found where the Lesley Episcopal Church is. Very old and beautiful. We also found an easter egg tree.

We ate some berryline for a snack, then back home for a mini-nap on the couch.
We tried watching this movie, Wings of Desire. I was really enjoying it until my mom called. I accidentally stopped the movie instead of pausing it, and then whenever I put the DVD back in, the subtitles were not working. The movie is in German, and now I am in suspense. Bummer. Maybe I’ll just put it in my computer and watch it before I fall asleep.
Tomorrow: work 6:30-2:30; nap; volunteer 6:30-9:30.
